Spellings
New spellings will be set every Monday and tested the following Monday. Each child will have 10 spellings to learn (stuck into their diaries) which will consist of 7 spellings, using the rule we are learning in class, as well as 3 spellings (red) which focus on common exceptions words. Depending on where each child is working at, these will either be from the Year 2 word list, the Year 3/4 word list or the Year 5/6 word list. As they become more confident with these spellings, we can move them onto new lists.
