Admissions Authority

Blandford St Mary CE Primary School is an Academy that is part of the Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust.  For purposes of admission arrangements, the Local Governing Body of Blandford St Mary CE Primary School is the admission authority responsible for admission decisions in connection with the school.

In Year Admissions

All in year admissions should be made through Dorset Admissions.

a.       Applications for in year admission may be submitted at any time during the school year. 

b.       The School is part of the LA’s in-year co-ordination scheme.  Any person wishing to apply for a place at the School in-year will need to contact the LA for an application form and a supplementary information form if required.  Further details in respect of in-year applications is available from the School office or from the School website.

c.       The LA will liaise with the School on receipt of any in-year application so that it may be processed in accordance with the School’s admission arrangements.

We encourage you to contact the school if you are interested in viewing the school.  We will then arrange for the Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher to show you around the school and answer any questions that you may have.

Appeals

The Local Authority will act on behalf of the school for all appeals regarding admissions.
