Blandford St Mary is situated on the outskirts of Blandford town, serving children from the village itself as well as the surrounding areas, including Blandford Forum, Charlton Marshall, Milton Abbas, Stourpaine, Winterborne Stickland, Turnworth, Winterborne Clenston, Pimperne, and as far as Manston near Sturminster Newton.
Originally built as an infant school in 2004, our school was extended in 2007 to accommodate primary-aged children. Pupils are taught in distinct year groups, from Reception through to Year 6.
The main building features seven classrooms, a hall, a library, a nurture area, and breakout rooms. Our beautiful grounds include a football pitch, an AstroTurf sports area, two play towers, a play trail, a dedicated forest school within our woodland, a playground, gym equipment, and raised beds for our eco-school initiatives.
