Attendance at school is the single most important factor that determines whether a child has a good education.  If a child is absent this will result in learning lost and a child missing out on our carefully sequenced curriculum.

While we understand that children do become poorly and need to stay home, we would urge you not to add to any days lost through sickness by booking holidays in term time.  Request for term time absence can only be granted in exceptional circumstances.  You can see from the flowchart below the impact even the occasional day of absence can have on total schooling time.
