Times of the school day

Length of school day.

Our school day is from 8.45 to 3.15 each day and amounts to a 32.5 hour school week.

Start of the school day

8:30am – 8:45am The gates to the playground are open from 8:30am and you are welcome to drop off your child from 8:30am.  

Mrs Beaver and/or a member of SLT are always on the gate in the mornings and at the end of the day and they will be happy to answer any questions you may have and pass messages to your child's teacher.

8.45 am The gates to the playground are locked promptly at 8:45am. Children arriving after this time must enter the school through the main office.

8:50am Class registers are taken and children should be settled and ready to begin their school day. Any child arriving after 8:50am but before 9:00am will be marked as ‘late’ in the register.

9:00am Any child arriving after 9:00am will be marked in the register as ‘unauthorised absence’ for the morning session.

Home-time

3:15pm The school day ends for all children.
