Self - Esteem

Self - Esteem impacts children both in social settings, such as friendships, and also their learning.

In ELSA we concentrate on the "things they do well" and explore new goals by breaking them down into small SMART manageable targets.

 

We also explore the word "Unique", how each person is "One of a kind" and special.

 

The children create a “All about me book” which they add work to as they continue through ELSA, they then can reflect on the goals they have already accomplished.

Often, we support this learning with reward charts and always with positive reinforcement!
